Warehouse Management System — Technisch Bureau Hendriks

Custom-built warehouse management system allowing Technisch Bureau Hendriks to fully manage their inventory digitally — including QR scanning for stock in/out, linking to orders and clients, and automatic low-stock alerts.

Technisch Bureau Hendriks needed a clear system to track their warehouse inventory. Spreadsheets were no longer sufficient — they needed a system that provides real-time insight and can be directly linked to their work processes.

I developed a fully custom warehouse management system based on Laravel and Filament. The system is accessible via browser and works on any device.

Products are checked in and out via QR code scanning. Each product has a unique QR code that can be scanned with a smartphone or barcode scanner. This eliminates manual input errors and significantly speeds up the warehouse process.

Core features:

- QR code scanning: check products in and out via smartphone or scanner

- Stock in: register new inventory with quantity, location and supplier

- Stock out: link inventory to a specific order or client

- Inventory overview: real-time insight into current stock per product

- Low stock alerts: automatic notification when a product falls below the minimum threshold

- Order and client linking: every mutation is traceable to an order or client

- Mutation history: complete log of all stock in and out movements

The system runs on MKWebDesign's server and is fully managed via a user-friendly Filament admin panel. Technisch Bureau Hendriks manages the inventory themselves, without any technical knowledge required.
